1. How Online Sales Work

1.1 Customers can view the products without needing to register.

1.2 After selecting the desired products, the customer adds them to their basket.

1.3 The shopping basket allows you to review your selections and view the delivery charge, which varies depending on the weight and nature of the items chosen.

1.4 The customer can remove items from their basket or continue shopping.

1.5 At checkout, customers can complete their purchase and pay via PayPal. It is not necessary to register for the service to make a payment.

1.6 Please take the utmost care to ensure the accuracy of the delivery details entered at checkout.

1.7 The order will be dispatched as soon as possible once confirmation of payment has been received by email.

1.8 If the ceramics ordered are not immediately available, De Sanctis dal 1890 will send an email detailing the production and delivery times.

2. Applicable Legislation and Right of Withdrawal

2.1 Online sales of products are governed by Legislative Decree No. 185 of 22 May 1999 on distance contracts.

2.2 The right of withdrawal is reserved exclusively for consumers (natural persons) and may not be exercised by legal entities or natural persons acting for professional purposes.

2.3 To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must return the items to Ceramiche De Sanctis 1890, Rome (RM), within 5 working days of receiving the goods.

2.4 The customer is responsible for the cost of returning the product.

2.5 The right of withdrawal is forfeited entirely if the returned product is not in perfect condition (lack of original packaging, missing components, damage to the product).

2.6 De Sanctis dal 1890 will process the refund within 30 working days of the customer dispatching the goods, once the goods have been received.

2.7 The refund will be processed via the same payment method used for the order (PayPal).

3. Shipping

3.1 Since 1890, De Sanctis has been dispatching its goods using the international express couriers POSTE ITALIANE, UPS and FEDEX.

3.2 Shipments within Italy are handled by POSTE ITALIANE, whilst those to overseas destinations are handled by UPS or FEDEX.

3.3 Shipments are tracked and guaranteed for delivery to the address specified by the customer.

3.4 Shipments cannot be made to post office boxes (P.O. Box), hold-for-collection points or non-physical addresses anywhere in the world. A full physical delivery address must be provided, at which the courier can make the delivery and obtain the recipient’s signature. Orders with delivery addresses corresponding to post office boxes cannot be processed and will be cancelled, with a refund of the amount paid.

3.5 In the event of partial or total damage, theft or loss of the goods, the customer must send a notification to the email address info@desanctis1890.com within 5 days of receiving the goods or within 10 days of the expected delivery date.

3.6 The customer must retain the damaged goods, the packaging and the box received for any inspection.

3.7 Any refund, if due, will be made within 90 days of the request being submitted, subject to a €29.00 excess payable by the recipient.

3.8 For goods delivered outside Italy and the European Union, the customer may be subject to import duties and taxes and must comply with the legislation of the country of destination.

4. General Terms and Conditions

4.1 All sales are subject to these Terms and Conditions.

4.2 De Sanctis dal 1890 reserves the right to amend the Terms and Conditions at any time, without prior notice. Any amendments shall take effect from the moment they are published on the website.
